According to AJC, The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has issued a “Blue Alert” for five men they said escaped from the Pulaski County, Georgia jail. The GBI said two men are murder suspects and all have a history of violence against others.

Hawkinsville, the city where the detention center is located, is roughly 50 miles south of Macon. Both agencies urged people to not approach the inmates.
